I am attempting the first compile trial of QGIS from the trunk and I have been waiting for the compilation to end for the last two hours. Is that how long it will take if one builds all? I am using the OSGEO install in Windows XP with Visual C++ Express 9. My computer has 4GB memory and it is a Core2 Duo 8400 3GHz processor.

What am I doing wrong? The place it is waiting at is shown below (from the output of the compiler) and I only see that it is still continuing and I am compiling the release with
debug version.

30>Performing Pre-Link Event...
30>Compiling manifest to resources...
30>Microsoft (R) Windows (R) Resource Compiler Version 6.0.5724.0
30>Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
