<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10pt"><div><span>Hello All-</span></div><div><span> I have a couple minor editorial comments/suggestions for </span><a target="_blank" href="http://plugins.qgis.org/"><span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1336740746_0">http://plugins.qgis.org</span></a> that I'd like to share. Apologies in advance if I'm sending my comments to the wrong list. There's no webmaster identified on the site so I don't know where to go. <br><br>I went to the <a target="_blank" href="http://plugins.qgis.org/"><span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1336740746_1">plugins.qgis.org</span></a>
site for the first time today and at first glance, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. The title/logo says "Quantum GIS" and the landing page says "Welcome to the new QGIS Web Application". Its a little confusing until you start reading the content. Here are a couple, really minor suggestions to make the site more readable:<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>1. I believe the title next to the QGIS logo at the top of the page should be consistent throughout the <a target="_blank" href="http://plugins.qgis.org/"><span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1336740746_1">plugins.qgis.org</span></a>
site. It should read "Quantum GIS Plugin Repository" or something
similar. Otherwise its a little jarring as you move from page to page
and its not always clear that your still on the plugin site (e.g.
Snippits and User Map).</div><div><br></div><div>2. Include a header for each individual section (like you have on the landing page and the plugins page). <br></div><div><br></div><div>3. I believe the title on the landing page should be a little more descriptive like "Welcome to the QGIS Plugin
Repository"</div><div><br></div><div>4. I suggest a minor reorganization of the content on the landing page. I suggest 3 simple sections: <br> - Introduction (e.g. what are plugins)<br></div><div> - How to Create/Upload a Plugin<br> - How to File a Bug Report</div><div> - Developer Resources</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Respectfully Yours,</div><div>Peter<br></div></div></body></html>
