Hi Paolo,

Sorry for the delay, I am a bit busy right now :)

I will try to answer you questions :

* Are you trying to install lizmap web client on a Windows machine or a Linux box ?

* The zip file of the last version is here :
http://demo.3liz.com/download/lizmap-web-client-2.4.1.zip
I should add the direct link in the wiki page. For now it is too "geek" with shell variables, etc.

* The chmod and chown commands are necessary to allow Lizmap script to be run by Apache user. In a linux box, there is no need to give specific rights to the folders containing the qgis projects and data. On windows boxes, I have to try it...

* I totally agree with the need to move from redmine to rst, but I just did not dare to ask the QGIS team to include Lizmap documentation in QGIS documentation. I would be very happy to use RST instead. I will begin the rewrite. By the way, there is a Redmine plugin allowing to use RST instead of the redmine syntax for all the redmine features (wiki, issues). See [1] I think it could help a lot to move to RST inside redmine too. (big work though : migrate from existing syntax into rst, with tools like this one or command line [2]
The correction will be effective in the next release

Thanks for your feedbacks !

Michael

2013/1/28 Paolo Cavallini <cavallini@faunalia.it>

Hi all.
It seems that instructions on:
http://hub.qgis.org/wiki/lizmapwebclient/Installation_en
are a bit outdated, e.g. the zip does not seem available from the link
shown.
Once installed, I get a pink square over a part of the area: is this a
known problem?Anything to be done?

Found a possible bug: when creating a project, if the target dir is not

sorry, I think I misunderstood the command, and shoud be ok.

On the other hand, the plugin should be updated to the new API:
