<div dir="ltr">Hi Robert,<br><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">I played around with the 'E' and added parens to it, to reflect the syntax checking of the expression editor [0][1]. It was just in Photoshop, as I didn't have time to work in Inkscape (slower process on the Mac).<br>
<br></div><div class="gmail_extra">I think the icon needs to stand on its own (without text, see slide #3) and needs a little something more than just an E. The Bob the builder icon doesn't seem to scale down very well (see slide #4). I tried a small wrench inside the parens, but like many other symbols I tried, it didn't legibly scale down to 16x16 very well.<br>

select-remove (not ready yet)<br>

I understand your concerns. Especially for small icons.<br>
In this case, the context can actually be used to skip the expression<br>
icon (the user is in the expression builder dialog) and a<br>
select-add/select-remove/<u></u>select-intersect button will be sufficient. So<br>
I'd be happy with your idea.<br>

Could you also commit a standalone expression builder icon (to use as<br>
such and as a basis to combine it with other tools)?<br>
