    Hi all,<br>

    Thanks to a really productive HF and good advices from its

    participants, I could port the CADinput plugin into QGIS core.<br>

    <br>

    The general idea of CAD tools in QGIS is to have a kind of filter

    which works on top of<i> </i>any map tool.<br>

    <br>

    A pull request has been open [0] and a QEP has been proposed too

    [1].<br>

    <br>

    If you have time to try this and provide feedback, you are welcome.<br>

    <br>

    The general intention is to integrate this in the beginning of next

    release cycle.<br>
