    <p>hm - but @animation_start_time and @animation_end_time seems not to be moving along with the time slider. That remains "static" during the animation.</p>
    <p>Based on your feedback I was expecting @animation_start_time and @animation_end_time to move along with the time slider - this doesn't seem the case.</p>

Correct -- the new temporal framework works on the concept of a map
having a time range, not a single time instant.

The equivalent variables are:
