<p>I am working with QtCreator and was wondering if there is a way
to switch between branches without this causing complete rebuilds,
despite of separate build directories?<br>
</p>
<p>For now, I am using <i>git worktree</i>, so I have separate
QtCreator projects for branches. However, I would prefer to stay
in one project, because I prefer just keeping track of which
branch I am on to keeping track of which <br>
</p>
<p>project a given file belongs to. Thanks for ideas. Here is my
stackoverflow question, where somebody commented that the rebuilds
have to do with Qt's MOC and CMake, not with QtCreator:</p>
