Provando a installare le dipendenze si arriva a questo:

$ apt-get install libqgis-core3.4.5
.....

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libqgis-core3.4.5 : Depends: libgdal20 (>= 2.2.0) but it is not 
installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Che vuol dire non esserci una libgidal30 >= 2.2.0 per Ubuntu Trusty né 
in quel repository, né nei repo standard di Ubuntu.

Dove trovarla non lo so ma il motivo primigenio è questo.
