[QGIS-it-user] QGIS crea shapefile poligono

Confermo (QGIS 3.4.7 sin win 10).
Alla creazione dello shapefile non c'è possibilità di scgliere tra 
poligono multi o singolo (come invece c'è per i geopackage); c'é solo 
una voce "Poligono" e lo shapefile risultante risulta essere 
"MultiPolygon". Abilitando l'opzione "Includi dimensione Z" lo shapefile 
risultante è indicato come "PolygonZM" ma vedo che attivando l'editing 
risulta abilitato lo strumento "Dividi parti" che invece è disabilitato 
per i geopackage a poligono singolo; questo mi fa pensare che lo 
shapefile sia comunque multipoligono.

Credo però che non sia un problema di QGIS ma del formato shapefile 
perché sulla pagina del driver per shapefile di GDAL-OGR c'è scritto:
'Note that when reading a Shapefile of type SHPT_ARC, the corresponding 
layer will be reported as of type wkbLineString, but depending on the 
number of parts of each geometry, the actual type of the geometry for 
each feature can be either OGRLineString or OGRMultiLineString. The same 
applies for SHPT_POLYGON shapefiles, reported as layers of type 
wkbPolygon, but depending on the number of parts of each geometry, the 
actual type can be either OGRPolygon or OGRMultiPolygon.'
