Hi

A few more points:

Change:

In addition, promoting QGIS implies the participation to congresses and
conferences and the production of information material, sometimes very
expensive for volunteer developers.

conferences and the production of information material, sometimes very
expensive for volunteer developers.

Change:

Sponsorship is a way to control the development of the project, but
rather a way of ensuring the longevity and overall health of the
project, by funding work that is regarded as vital but otherwise
undersupported by the contributions of developers using QGIS in their
own projects.

health of the project. <Remove last phrase>

Change

The sponsorship funds will be spent to directly improve the code base of
the project, to fund tasks that receive less attention without direct
support, and to fund work on corollary project tasks so that core
contributors can focus efforts on QGIS improvements.

reports by any maintainer eventually hired with sponsorship funds

I'm not really a fan of adding such promises and would rather it was

independently to fix organisation critical issues.

For

Sponsors can sponsor GDAL for any amount of money of at least $500 USD.
At or above the following levels a sponsor will be designated as being
one of the following class:

Hopefully their money will come to *QGIS* rather :-)

Change

Sponsorships last one year, after which they may be continuing with a
new payment, or allowed to lapse.
