Hi Gerry (cc psc for info)
If the offer is still available, I would like to take you up on your
it, since I have been in contact with theplanet.com numerous times
over the last few days and things look somewhat hopeless to me - the
expected 24hour to fix has long since come and gone and we need to put
in place some alternative for the interim.
I have a backup of the site here - its a week or two old since I was
largely offline the last few weeks before brasil and wasnt able to
update my rsync based backup. I believe the qgis.org website is up to
date but the wiki may be missing some more recent additions.
The biggest problem I have is that where I am staying I dont have
decent internet connection - both in speed and bandwidth cap and the
backup without postgis stuff (but including wiki and qgis.org) is
currently around 133mb. So Im going to suggest we start with qgis.org
only which I will send via yousendit.com to you, and then Il will
upload the wiki content as a separate effort.
Gary can you arrange to point qgis.org dns to the appropriate place?
Many thanks
Regards
Tim
