download.osgeo.org was compromised and a server that is normally meant for
backups is currently operating as download.osgeo.org.   I think currently only
admins can upload.

You could put the files up on our QGIS VM, I suppose.  That's also where I
currently host a temporary osgeo4w repository at [1] for the nightly builds and
the preliminary 1.5 packages.
