[Qgis-psc] migrating plugins

Perhaps we should make a list of most popular plugins, and start from there?
I have added a section on that in the wiki:

Should we contact each plugin author first, before doing the migration?
I would like to migrate the openlayers plugin, while linking to the
existing github repos. It seems to be the most requested plugin, and
I also found myself hunting around for the right repository to add to
qgis 1.8.
