[Qgis-psc] Is there anybody interested whether QGIS 2.0 will support non-Latin1 Shapefiles?

Agreed, an enormous problem especially for Asian countries.

I suggest to involve Far East developers on this effort: they are
quite interested in having proper support for complex characters.
