all well, but:
* we already decided for a public contest; we can always change a decision, of course
* a public contest is meant not for devs, but for the general public; the argument
is: many firms are using QGIS, they have graphical designers, they can donate their
time; with a public contest we can select from a larger pool of potential logos, for
free.
Anyway, I think it is important to move forward, both for logo and for BootStrap theming.
