following up on the idea of a joint code sprint / hackfest I've
contacted our venue sponsor and they support the idea. What information
would you need from my side to make a decision for the QGis hackfest?

The current information from the C Tribe like the date (March 24-28 2014
right after the FOSSGIS in Berlin) is summarized in the OSGeo wiki [1].
