Hi Ross,
We have purchased the uk qgis domains and happy to pass them to the PSC
or handle the domains in the way they deem appropriate.
I think, during the HF, there was talk of drawing up some guidelines on
the QUGs and we will be soon made aware of the details.

We can set you up with a subdomain as well, it can the forward to
qgis.org.uk or whatever else you end up with.
