[Qgis-psc] announcing 2.12?

We have windows/debian packages ready, so have updated homepage at qgis.org

Should we wait for an official public announcement (eg twitter via
Nathan, or blogpost on blog.qgis.org untill macosx or more linux
distro's are ready? Or wait for the visual changelog?

Or should we (being realistic) tell the world: "We are releasing:
Windows and Debian are ready.. more to come..."
