IMHO the whole project should be supported, by sponsoring some hours per
month of a dev. This infrastructure should not be left to volunteer
effort alone.
Also the governance is unclear: some old cruft should probably be
removed, but it is unclear who can and should decide about that.
We have been discussing about this in the past, but nothing was decided.
