[Qgis-psc] feature freeze with 54 pull requests !!!

Hi Marco, PSC,

on the dev list Alexandre is asking to pull his icons (PR #2630), BUT
feature freeze already began.

Currently (see https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pulls) there are 54 open
pull requests?!

We as community should try to cleanup the list and make it shorter, say
at least 2 weeks, before a feature freeze.

@Marco: are you still able to handle this, or should we appoint 1 or 2
assisting devs from outside psc to handle PR's? I'm really afraid we
loose credits from people like Alexandre who took quite some discussion
hurdles and time to create a PR and then being ignored before a new QGIS
version.

@Juergen: I think part of the freeze/release process we as PSC maybe
should sent an email to all devs/PR-builders to tell them that we are
going to go in feature freeze within x days, and IF you want your PR in,
that you have to put some marketing/energy in it if you want it to land
into that version x...

Off course, like always: "just do it" :-)
I'll try to keep an eye on the feature freeze better and sent this email
(but feel free to remind me if I forget).
