Great stuff - thanks for the update and welcome Mike - we will post more updates of what it means to be a voting member in coming weeks (maybe months too), but for the simple version the expectations are:

* voting to approve (or veto) the annual budget prepared by the Treasurer
* voting to approve the annual report (I think this is more about verifying that the report is an accurate account) - Andreas?
* voting on any matters that the board thinks need broader consensus
* being active and engaged in the affairs of QGIS and acting as our champion in your community.

All voting will be electronic / online.
