[Qgis-psc] Hackfest Fall 2017 in Ticino

Dear PSC at OPENGIS.ch we have been playing with the idea of organising an hackfest in Ticino (the Italian speaking part of Switzerland).

It is where I grew up so I might be able to find some good conditions throug connections... a bit further south they call this mafia ;) just kidding but knowing the region inside-out obviously gives me a lot of insight.

The region is very well connected
- - Agno Airport 30min
- - Zürich airport 2:00h by train - experiencing the deepest tunnel in the world
- - Milano malpensa 1:30h by shuttle bus
- - Bergamo - Orio al serio 2:30

The ideal season would be beginning of October when the hig season is over but the climate is still very nice and the area offers plenty to do.

I'd like to know if you think the Idea would we worth exploring more.
