[Qgis-psc] QGIS Server funding

Hi Yves and Régis,

Just as a short note regarding PNG encoding in QGIS server:

The City of Uster would be willing to finance this, but they need a clear
plan and some guarantee that there actually will be a sensible performance
improvement. They can't just sponsor on the outlook that it may or may not
be an improvement (meaning they can't fund general research were the
outcome is uncertain).

Andreas Vonlaufen would be the contact in uster. Andreas knows about the
project but apparently the contract wasn't agreed upon yet, as the outcome
of the proposal was too uncertain for the City of Uster.
