[Qgis-psc] What to put in the carousel

Hi,

We currently only have to item is the carousel display at the top of
http://qgis.org/en/site/ and one of those are the swag shops with (now)
outdated designs.

Since this is a great spot to advertise information that is important to
our users - particularly new ones - I think we should have some appropriate
new content.

Currently, one of the most-asked questions is "When will QGIS 3.0 be out?"
We could make a banner for that.

We could also make a banner for the dev meeting in Madeira.
