Hi all,
I successfully created a Stripe account and added our business information
and linked the bank account. Contrary to PayPal they also understand that
Euro accounts do exist in Switzerland. All was easy and straight forward.
They also knew about Swiss business setups (CHE-numbers), IBAN/SWIFT and
peoples IDs (AHV-Nr) they could immediately verify. Looks more professional
than PayPal, so far. PayPal - until just recently didn't even accept IBAN
account numbers for linking bank accounts. IBAN has been introduced in
Europe many years ago.
Now the next step is to integrate the payment button (checkout) into our
website. I hope that Richard or Tim can help me with integrating the
payment button into our website.
We will keep you informed about the updates.
Greetings,
Andreas
