[Qgis-psc] Importing shp into gpkg as SINGLE geometry gives MULTI?

Hi all,
I have a shp with a single line. I drag and drop it frominto a
geopackage, choosing "single instead of multi" option. The resulting
gpkg layer is still multi, as shown in DB Manager itself. To me this is
a bug, could anyone please confirm?
QGIS 3.4.
