Dear PSC,

Finally, and with quite some delay (I'm sorry) I can present the financial
report of the year 2020
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gvXciJ_r15sFOpKzgKbl0VJcP32Er2oYtpkzp3mVP1Q/edit?usp=sharing>.
I just sent it, along with other documents to our financial auditors. They
need a couple of days (2-3 weeks?) to digest it (my assumption).

I was able to find the malbooking (an issue with a training certificate
that I didn't subtract from a stripe payment). So now everything is correct
to the cent.

Here is some more info:
Comparison of 2020 figures with budget proposal

PSC members also have access to the detailed document with all bookings.

Several 2020 QGIS grants couldn't be finished in time (due to various
reasons, partially because they are complex to review) and will be
accounted for during 2021.

Finally, I was able to settle our reverse charge VAT payments for the years
2016 to 2020. Now that I know how it works, it is actually an easy process
and I will be able to do the payments in January the following years.
Overall the reverse charge VAT payments totalled at 33k € for all 5 years,
but one has to keep in mind that in exchange we didn't pay VAT in the
countries where our developers live. Because Switzerland has lower VAT
(currently 7.7%, previously 8%) rates, we actually saved a lot of money due
to these reverse charge VAT mechanisms. Many other European countries have
VAT rates at 14 to 20%.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Once we get the "ok" from the two financial auditors, we can also start the
AGM 2021 - but I'm afraid - that will be in the middle of July - summer
holiday - not a good time. Perhaps we should do it in late August?

Greetings,
Andreas
