I'm not aware of any #qgis matrix room?

We should update https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/support.html#chat then to include Telegram (and matrix?)

My preference would also be Matrix: really free, distributed etc
And (though the first login can be more tricky then using a phone number like Telegram/Whatsapp) it works great.
