Hi PSC
I am working on the Travel Grant Program for this year's FOSS4G Conference
<https://2025.foss4g.org/> that is to be held in Auckland. As the Travel
Grant Program applications will open soon and I am quite new to this, I
would love your advice.

We would like to work out the best way to connect to the User Groups as we
were thinking that perhaps we could encourage local User Groups to help
support a TGP application, and also perhaps undertake some fundraising for
their applicants to supplement a TGP application

We get that Auckland may seem like the other end of the Earth for some, but
we would really love to see a good contingent of our QGIS Users there. It
seriously is beautiful and I would encourage everyone to take a week or so
on either or both sides of the conference. I am currently looking at canoeing
down the Whanganui river

!

Keen to hear your advice.

Kind regards
Em
