[Qgis-psc] Request for Confirmation Regarding Permission to Publish QGIS-Generated Maps Under CC BY 4.0 License

Dear QGIS Public Contribution Committee,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kavulavu Briton, and I am in
the process of preparing a manuscript for submission to *PLOS ONE*. As part
of my manuscript, I have included maps created using QGIS software using
coordinates and data we collected in Kenya.

I understand from the QGIS website that the software is open-source and no
additional permissions are required for using maps created with it.
However, in light of the publisher's requirement to release the images
under the *Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)*, I would like
to be absolutely sure that I do not need any further permissions to publish
these QGIS-generated maps under this license.

If there are any steps I need to take or additional permissions required, I
would greatly appreciate your guidance on the process moving forward.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your
clarification.
