Hi!

Sorry for coming back on you a bit late .. I know I said monday .. and
it's nearly wednesday ..

First of all thanks for offering joining the team and bring QGIS to
your language making it available for even more people.

The list to go through:

1. there are a lot of places where translation is needed (Webpage,
Documentation, ..) and currently there are different ways to help

2. The GUI (So the Program translation itself) is currently done by
downloading the .ts file according to your language and than use a
helper program (i suggest you to use qt-linguist) to do the actual
translation .. If you are familiar with git and github you can create
your own fork of QGIS and commit pull requests there .. Or if you dont
want to bother around with git just send the (preferably compressed)
.ts files for your language to my mail address, I will check them and
commit them as soon as possible.

So both languages already exist and I hope if any of the already
contributing translators are reading this they will get in contact
with you and integrate you in the team and get you going
