Hi Translators,
in an effort to make the translation teams easier to manage and make it
easier to join, we are going to merge all translators from the transifex
QGIS-Website team to the QGIS-Documentation team.
The QGIS-Documentation team is renamed to 'QGIS Docs and Website' and
the members can then translate both the Website AND the Documentation
project. The QGIS-Website team is then obsolete.
The idea is that we do not need two teams for our web related
translations. BUT we keep the Desktop-translation team separate for now
(as discussed earlier).
So please all members of the QGIS-Website, please remove yourself from
that TEAM and if you are not already a member of the 'QGIS Docs and
Website' (formerly QGIS Documentation) *TEAM* please move yourself to
that team.
Coordinators of all languages can you please move your members from the
Website team to the Docs team. Most coordinators are coordinator of both
teams. If not able because you are not coordinator of the other team,
let me know then I make you coordinator of the both teams.
Within 2 weeks I will move all still remaining members to the
Docs&Website team.
Docs has 477 translators, Site has 231 translators, that's why I use the
Docs team as base...
This move should not change the way you translate, it is just that we
merge two teams in one, so new members need to join just one team to be
able to translate docs + website (and coordinators just manager 1 team).
As we cannot do 'mass/group'-emails in Transifex, I hope I reach all
translators in this way.
Regards,
Richard Duivenvoorde
ps for the Dutchies: I've already did the move....
