Welcome and thanks for offering your help.
If there is anything particular to do I am sure Paolo knows everything.
For everything else - just do proof reading or translate anything
thats still untranslated.

I am sure you already know that all you need is an account on
transifex.com and apply for the QGIS Italian team ..
