 It crashes at mine too (rev 9743 @ Ubuntu 8.04), however after removing
 the redundant request works fine: http://mapserver.gdf-hannover.de/cgi-
 bin/grassuserwms

 Maybe qgis should parse the url and reject/simplify it if something
 unneeded is added?
