#996: QGIS corrupts JPEG2000 colors
-----------------------------------------------------+----------------------
Reporter: coatman | Owner: nobody
Type: defect | Status: reopened
Priority: major: does not work as expected | Milestone: Version 1.0.0
Component: Rasters | Version: HEAD
Resolution: | Keywords:
Platform_version: | Platform: OS X
Must_fix: Yes | Status_info: 0

Comment (by Coatman):
I do not think this is a packaging problem. There is very substantial
information posted on my web page
http://homepage.mac.com/gregcoats/jp2.html including 7 sample pairs of
JPEG2000 images, showing how they are improperly displayed by QGIS and how
they appear when properly displayed. QGIS version 0.8.0 properly
displayed JPEG2000 images via JasPer and Kakadu. The current QGIS does
not properly display JPEG2000 when relying upon JasPer nor when relying
upon Kakadu. There is nothing wrong with JasPer or Kakadu.
