 Hi

 Ah excuse my ignorance - I hadnt realised that jasper and kakadu were
 different implementations - I will try to install kakadu jp2 support on
 ubuntu if packages are available and retest.

 I will create a unit test using your images that will run conditionally on
 presence of jp2 support.

 I'm also not aware of how to tell gdal to use kakadu rather than jasper
 for jp2 support so I'll need to investigate this all further.

 Peter on your ubuntu testing were you using Jasper or Kakadu?
