#935: no layer name if the layer loaded from CLI
-----------------------------------------------------+----------------------
        Reporter:  cgs_bob                           |         Owner:  nobody
            Type:  bug                               |        Status:  new
        Priority: major: does not work as expected | Milestone: Version 1.0.0
       Component:  GUI                               |       Version:  HEAD
      Resolution:                                    |      Keywords:
Platform_version:                                    |      Platform:  Unix
        Must_fix:  Yes                               |   Status_info:  0
-----------------------------------------------------+----------------------
Changes (by msieczka):

  * priority: minor: annoyance or enhancement => major: does not work as
               expected
  * platform:  Debian => Unix
  * summary: executing "qgis rasterfile.tiff" loads raster but doesn't
              show name in the legend. => no layer name if
              the layer loaded from CLI
  * type:  defect => bug
  * must_fix:  No => Yes

Comment:

 I'm extending the description to reflect that the issue is not limited to
 rasters only. E.g.:

 {{{
 qgis dir/*.shp
 }}}

 will also yield a set of layers without a name.
