 I may be wrong, but the title of this ticket seems misleading to me. After
 all qgis do not fails to reproject, fails to recognize (and use?) the
 right projections. So if this is the case, no particular case is needed to
 test this behaviour. Just try the qgis sample dataset as I pointed in my
 previous comment.
