#1945: Qgis crashes removing GRASS raster layer from map canvas
---------------------------------------------------------+------------------
Reporter: juanelz | Owner: nobody
Type: bug | Status: new
Priority: critical: causes crash or data corruption | Milestone:
Component: Rasters | Version: 1.3.0
Keywords: GRASS rasters | Platform_version:
Platform: Windows | Must_fix: Yes
Status_info: 0 |
---------------------------------------------------------+------------------
I installed QGIS Mimas 1.3.0 (OSGeo4W setup, advanced installation with
qgis-grass-plugin 1.0.2-2 and grass 6.4.0svn3) on Vista 32bit, Vista
64bit, and XP.
After loading GRASS raster layers to the map canvas via GRASS Tools QGIS
crashes if you try to remove the layer (right mouse click on the layer in
the map legend window). After the crash the file .gislock is written into
the mapset of the GRASS database. This file has to be deleted manually,
otherwise it is no longer possible to enter the GRASS mapset.
The bug is always reproducable on the Vista 32 and 64. On XP I could
successfully remove several raster layers before QGIS also crashed. This
bug fix would be a considerable improvement for GRASS plugin and GRASS GIS
integration on Windows.
Regards.
