#2787: Value Tool crashes with GRASS Rasters
-----------------------------------------------------+----------------------
        Reporter: andre | Owner: ghislainp
            Type: bug | Status: closed
Priority: major: does not work as expected | Milestone: Version 1.5.0
Component: Python plugins and bindings | Version: HEAD
Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Value Tool GRASS
Platform_version: Ubuntu 9.10 | Platform: Linux
        Must_fix: No | Status_info: 0
-----------------------------------------------------+----------------------
Changes (by jef):

  * priority: critical: causes crash or data corruption => major: does not
               work as expected

Comment:

BTW it doesn't crash. valuetool should ignore grass raster layers (at
least for now). the error message only appears when you move the mouse
pointer inside the map canvas, so you can move it outside, close the error
message using the keyboard and disable valuetool in the plugin manager.
