Comment:

 The problem is described here http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/981 , it
 is GRASS bug, definitely it cannot be fixed in QGIS. It is more feature
 than a bug, certain OGR drivers do not have FID column which is necessary
 for vector - attributes connection.
