While the attribute table's advanced search uses the same dialog as the
provider filters, the actual search is done with {{{QgsSearchString}}},
which doesn't implement {{{IN}}}. The subset strings you can set from the
vector layer properties dialog are passed on to the providers and those
can support {{{IN}}}.
