 This problem doesn't seem related to GdalTools, so would be useful if you
 write it on ML. AFAIK there was a discussion about it few months ago, but
 I don't remember anything else.

 Ask on dev-ML, crashes are bad news so we should fix it before releasing
 the 1.6 if someone can confirm, but again it's not related to GdalTools.
