 Hi Jurgen,

 I would like to see if it works with my Garmin unit, but I'm not sure what
 has to be used in the new "device" field when choosing "connect to gpsd".

 Please note that if in the above field is written a string that contains a
 ":" then clicking on "connect" causes qgis to crash
