#3170: many GDAL Tools don't work in OS X standalone
------------------------------------------------+---------------------------
Reporter: kyngchaos | Owner: brushtyler
Type: bug | Status: new
Priority: major: does not work as expected | Milestone: Version 1.7.0
Component: GDALTools | Version: 1.5.0
Keywords: gdal python | Platform_version:
Platform: OS X | Must_fix: No
Status_info: 0 |
------------------------------------------------+---------------------------
Changes (by kyngchaos):
* must_fix: Yes => No
Comment:
Not a blocker for general release, just for standalone.
As mentioned, there is a GdalTools setting to set the pymod path, but it
is disabled (it doesn't look like the feature is programmed yet). This is
really all that is needed for those cases where GDAL is not where
expected, like bundled in a standalone package. No need to hardwire the
path at compile time.
