 I think I'll leave it at r15376.  I tried some of the other places where
 the color picker is used and the Mac color picker didn't cause any
 crashes.  Even the old symbology doesn't crash with the Mac color picker
 (I changed that, but I'll leave since I think old symbology will be
 dropped soon?).

 Maybe there is something wrong in how the new symbology is calling
 getcolor()?
