[Qgis-us-user] US election data

You and about 50,000 others would like this. 😀 I've been working this
kind of analysis for my county for many years, but this data is usually not
available until everything is certified and the poll records can be hand
recorded directly into the databases for precinct-level analysis. This
process takes weeks, so I typically wait a couple of months. What's
available now are the scrapes of many, many counties (still without
precinct data, usually); all different formats; different
naming conventions, etc. The media outlets have teams that scour these
county-level records, but they don't publish their data. The rest in the
short term is polling interviews also done by the media outlets and
surveyors.

The other fun is that the precinct boundaries often change and that
process, too, takes a while to get published out.

All part of the fun. Please share back if you find anything!
