[Qgis-user] XY coordinates

Hi all,
it's certainly a trivial question for most users on this m-l, but I can't find 
a clean solution with QGIS/GRASS to directly add the XY coordinates (or XYZ) 
in the shapefile attribute table  :-( 
Is there a solution?
