[Qgis-user] Using a tablet in postgis

Hello again group,
I'm attempting to use a tablet to digitise polygons as an interpretation
over a scanned aerial photograph. The problem I'm having is that to set the
locatioin of a vertex I need to press the left mouse button. The cheapo
tablet I've got just works in a very similar way to a mouse. When the pen is
on the tablet it takes this as the left mouse button being pressed. I don't
want to have to press a button every time I want to set a vertex/point. Is
there a way to tell qgis that when I'm using the tablet, to take a point
every 0.x seconds or a particular distance/number of pixels? Google Earth
works in a similar way to this when you're drawing a polygon.
