[Qgis-user] Configuration file in Windows

Thank you, Gary. Yes I should be able to do that but actually I didn't.
Selecting that toolbar had no effect.

I didn't even think about the registry since the editor is disabled by
the system administrators and I've not used it for years. It's a complex
process to get that privileges granted in that corporate environment so
I did some googling and learned that I could use reg in the command
line. I deleted the /hkcu/software/quantumgis key and solved my problem.

I saved a copy of the deleted key, in case it's of interest for someone.
